Melon Turmeric Smoothie


Ingredients (Serves 2)
1 musk melon
1/2″ piece fresh turmeric, scraped, chopped
2 tbsp jaggery {optional, to taste}
Juice of 1/2 lime
1/4 tsp Himalayan rock salt
Fresh mint leaves to garnish

Half the melon and remove the seeds.
Using a melon baller, scoop out a few melon balls if you wish to garnish the smoothie.
Peel the melon, and chop up the flesh roughly.
Add with remaining ingredients {except mint leaves} to jar of blender, and blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Serve immediately garnished with melon balls and fresh mint.
